Stan's was founded in 1994 by Lake Charles, La. Native Stanley Caldarera. The company originated as strictly a working airboat service taking care of survey and pipeline companys.One of his primary means of income was harvesting alligator eggs for the gator farmers. In 2005 he purchased his first Wilson Mini Marsh Excavator. His work consisted of constructing hunting trails and performing reclamation work on abandoned oil well sites. Business was productive enough to add a second and larger marsh excavator. In 2005, with the destruction caused by Hurricane Rita, Stan's bought it's 3rd marsh excavator.
In October of 2007 Stanley sold the business to Tommy and Liz Todd. A long time farmer and metal structures contractor as well as an avid hunter and fisherman,Tommy knew the business would be a perfect fit for his personality and in April, 2008 his wife Liz joined the company team.
