Over the past 30 years, he has developed and/or managed a wide range complex projects, including geological and hydro geological investigation and studies as related to oil & gas exploration and environmental impacts from oil & gas activities. Mr. Nickell is well versed in all aspects of the oil and gas industry, including prospect development, drilling, completion, production operations, due diligence assessments, and management of complex soil and groundwater remediation projects as a result of contaminant releases to the environment. He has worked in a diverse range of environments, such as, oilfield service, oil & gas exploration and production, pipeline transportation, and petroleum chemical industries. Mr. Nickell developed and implemented standards for due diligence pre acquisition site assessments for producing oil and gas properties, oil and gas service companies and pipeline transportation companies. In addition, Mr. Nickell has been at the forefront of new insitu remediation technology with his development of the Deep Remediation Injection System (DRIS), a proprietary, patented technology for in-situ biological and/or the chemical oxidation of hydrocarbon contaminants in soil and groundwater. He has also engineered, designed, and managed deep injection disposal wells and water flood programs.
