Russell and BJ Cobb, Owners of ICI Construction, Inc. started the company by performing Interior Build Outs under the name of Innerspace Construction in 1981. In 1989, they formed the Dallas division to incorporate new clientele in the North Texas region. In 1997, Russell and BJ changed the name to ICI Construction, Inc. because the company was beginning to build ground up construction projects thus feeling the need to get away from the "Innerspace" name.

Since then, the Dallas division has been very diverse, building multi-family housing, restaurants, retirement facilities, educational facilities, and commercial development projects. The Dallas division has performed these type projects in multiple states across America.

The Houston division has focused mainly on educational construction for multiple school districts in Southeast Texas since 1993. The Houston office has developed the managerial techniques required to service educational construction projects.

We have perfected the art of finishing projects on time and tailored our management to assist the owner and design team with a seamless coordination effort. ICI believes in teaming up with premier subcontractorsand contracting them to abide by the project documents exactly as written.

ICI Construction has been providing superior general construction services for over 25 years. Our expertise includes multi-family, commercial office and industrial buildings, retail centers, restaurants, healthcare facilities, hotels as well as having an interiors division specializing in the finish-out of commercial space. ICI Construction has the experience and the professionals to build your projects nationwide.
